-> I realize this is maybe off topic here, but could be relevant to someone as -> well as me.. -> Does anyone here remember what compound is useful in chemically stripping -> enamel from copper wire? In restoration of an old Story and Clark Organo one -> of the little coil wires on the slug tuned audio oscillator channels for the -> tone production units got broken. I've recovered the tiny filament shard and -> need to splice it to gain enough wire to re-solder it to the coil terminal. -> I know there is a chemical way to strip enamel like this as I've seen reference -> to it in my carreer. But this is so long ago it's escaped me.
