Hi, MB> The question is: When you run Dataflex in its native OS/2 flavor, MB> exactly how does it read from the keyboard? If you can find that MB> out, maybe we can come up with suggestions. Apparently, a demo of the DataFlex 4GL compiler and runtime is present on the OS/2 DevCon Cd-Roms (I say apparently, cos IBM UK are dragging their feet processing my various application forms). If you install it and compile a test program such as: /Screen BarCode _____________ /* Page Screen Accept Screen.1 // get barcode from user Abort You might be able to see how the pcode file (.FLX) triggers runtime routines which presumably find themselves in Kbd API calls eventually.
