they have AIX and they have ported NT too. both of them are ready and
shipped since about 2 years. OS2 PPC is in development since about 5 years,
and the version is still NOT complete and ready. they ship just a small
portion of WARP in the PPC release. 

L. Gerstner wrote an IBM internal note about 1.5 years ago 'either you are
ready to ship early 1995 or the product will be killed. he gave them
another full year and late 1995 IBM announced the development stop. 

So, what do you think?

But, there are some large organizations which started porting to PPC with
the beta toolkits from DevCon. IMO they would be very unhappy with a 'its
dead' message. So, IBM trys to do it this way.
