You have been away for a while ;-) PB version 3.2 is the current
version. As a former TB user I can attest that 3.2 is a big step
up in overall functionality. As a TB owner you are eligible for
 their competitive upgrade program/price.
If you have web access you can get all the gory details at
"www.powerbasic.com". Amongst other things you will find there a
"test drive" version of 3.2 (fully functional except you can't
save source code) and a relatively new offering called
"FirstBASIC" which is shareware, available for download at the
site, and a somewhat repackaged PB version 2.x.
Check it out! 3.2 even has pointers like C ;-) We've come a long
way from 2 character variable names ;-)
