Hello Phil -

>>> I did eventually find a graphic of a floogle horn but it
>>> took awhile. Now when I think of finding a graphic of
>>> _anything_ on the 'net' I think of a floogle horn. :-\

PM>> Now see what you've gone and done, Charles, you've just
PM>> spread that oddity to another brain. Now how can I too
PM>> -not- think of a floogle horn when I look for a graphic.
PM>> [g] It's like that old saw about telling someone not to
PM>> think of an elephant.

>> :-)

PM> Sure. Go ahead and smile. It's me that's been floogled.

OK, let's fix that. Try 'cor anglais' instead. A more common
instrument but not one most people are consciously aware of.

PM>> Incidently: Couldn't find anything on the net for
PM>> 'mandolin' so thought I'd better check the spelling --
PM>> it's 'mandoline'. There was also a picture of it in the
PM>> dictionary, which saved me the net search.... Old
PM>> technology!

>> http://www.rawgourmet.com/mandolineplus.html "I even went so
>> far as to mention on page 193 of my book that using a
>> mandoline is not for the average home cook because of the
>> danger."

>> Seems to be as bad as the 'meat slicer'.

PM> Nah. My fingers can still manage the keyboarrrdddd. Morre
PM> orr lesssss.

Those 'chopamatic' things seem less dangerous to me. :-)

I use a large knife myself on a chopping board but I don't
recommend it to newly-wed cooks. ;-)
