First, if you plan to use solar cells - you'll need a *LOT* of money.
Despite advancements, they are still way too expensive.
BTW, I notice you live in Canada. Cold place in the winter, eh.
Cogeneration would be a more cost effective winner: Lots of
electricity, and lots of heat.
