Dear Bruce: I have a side question regards to keyboard. Do you know off any tools out there that accept input from the COMM ports and re-direct it into the keyboard buffer? I have a DOS 4GL application that I am thinking of porting it to OS/2. There exist an OS/2 runtime however the runtime have no support for COMM ports. My application utilizes barcodes. In the DOS environment I utilize a 3rd party TSR to accept raw input from the scanner attached to the COMM port. The input is read and stuff into the keyboard buffer. My application thinks that an operator have keyed in the input. In the 4GL the command to obtain input is ... "ACCEPT ..." and it assumes that input is keyed in from the console or keyboard. So, I am looking for anything out there to me to achieve this. Thx. --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: Computer Education Services BBS (1:103/132) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 103/625 651 2 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
