| subject: | Keyboard stuffer from COMM ports. |
Thx for replying. This application is a text MODE application. It is a DOS text mode app. The runtime is very portable. Dataflex does run on DOS, OS/2, Unixes and Windows (3.1, NT, 95). The runtime is written to be portable. As a result they implemented the lowest common denominator. The way we worked around the COMM port issues in a DOS environment is use a 3rd party TSR to accept input from the COMM ports and re-direct it into the keyboard buffer. In our application it seems like the operator have typed it in.
