I have to return to the drawing board and identify a possible problem. It may
lie in that the code was written for a 16-bit compiler, and I was using my
normal OS/2 compiler.
I'm going to drop-it for now. I've encountered other, more critical, problems
that are a result of my inexperience with C. Thanks for the outstanding
reply.
