Ardith Hinton wrote to James Bradley, "Introductions" AH> Hi again, James! Here's an addition to my earlier reply: Hello, and hello. JB> Well, how do, Ardith? Here's a summary of a couple AH> of things which came to mind... I too have to chuckle when asked if I've spent time in a hospital. Besides the time as an infant, [I was frightened by (The dream of... ?) a dog.] I had more than a few episodes of road rash while exiting my bicycle ungracefully. One of those disagreements with gravity must have induced a malignant tumour called a liposarcoma. From the operation that followed up the removal of it, my pain is constant, and only being managed by non-narcotic medications at this time. Twelve years later, 'umpteen' half done home-improvement projects laying about, I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs. I don't recall there being any backlog of messages here in this echo, hence my query to bring me up to speed. I too wonder about 'lurkers', but as I figure, they are all trying to fix their Windows machines, and there's enough there to keep them awake all night. I too have a musical background. I was trained in drums and percussion a bit, and did exhibit some skill in my days. As the neuroma keeps me from sitting on anything but my tail-bone, I have been trying to pick up some of the Latin percussion toys as of late. Well, I guess that's full disclosure. Now... What else is going on? Oh... Just a warning, I'm sure you've discovered about me, I can be a bit of a brat, but I've been told I can be a lot of fun regardless.
