Wait. I used them on the front of a Corvair unstead of the wimpy
stock front ones. But, I believe they were the same diameter and
width. The fronts were smooth, and the rears were a heavier
finned variety. I believe they were 9x2". Isn't that what you
need? The wheels are the same 4-bolt pattern, so you may be able
to adapt them without a lot of trouble.
Sorry, I should have made it clear that I used rear drums on the
front of the Corvair.
The Chevy II fronts were fairly weak, and the Corvair finned
rears may well fit with little work and give a better reserve.
Not sure what year Corvairs had those drums. I'd suspect '62
to '64. In '65 they went to the five hole wheel when they
changed the body style. If you can track down Clark's Corvair
in Shelbourne, MA you could probably get that info.
