North Carolina has cases of firing of tenured teachers for sexual
misconduct being upheld, but one (Crump) also ended with the district having
to pay the teacher $78,000 in the teacher's claim that he was fired due to
his notoriety for the same actions the state supreme court said justified his
firing.
I will email you the physical-abuse case, though, and I ask you to post
your views of the case on this echo.
