If I were going to pick who I wanted, I would have already done it....or at
least kept it on the QT so's no one would be the wiser until long after the
fact. Why would you ask such a thing? I would think the word "election" has
more or less of a universal meaning.....except maybe in Third World and
Communist countries. This is the United States and I should not have to
define the meaning of the word.......... and...... I won't.

Then read between the lines all you want. Bud had a netmail problem for a
time and felt he needed to communicate a response to a private missive. I
will not make private matters public and they ARE off-topic.
As a sidenote.....even if I have made a choice.....it would stick, and
there's not a thing you can do about it. So your questions and issues up to
this point are moot......and.....OFF-TOPIC. Take them to netmail or e-mail,
if you like.
I said an "ELECTION" will be held, and I meant it. I will post the ground
rules and qualifications shortly. Regardless, you are free to believe
whatever you want. You are not free to question and slander my motives and
methods, and you will henceforth, cease and desist from it.
Understand? I will NOT warn you again.

Your choice for an Assistant is an excellent one. Regretfully, however, I
must decline to accept your nomination for the Moderator for reasons that are
OFF-TOPIC in this forum. Please feel free to discuss them with me at any
desired length via e-mail or netmail.
