I once shrank a program that used 32 arrays down to one of 1 array and
1/3 of the length. the author didn't like it.
As long as you're not that kind of person, everything's alright.
And I'm sure you can shrink this program by half (keeping the same
functionality). You have four nearly identical functions. use if..else
chains or the `switch' instruction and pass the number of the operation
to the now single function you have. (1=add,2=sub,etc.)
Besides, there were *excellent* BASIC programmers in QUIK_BAS a few
years ago, but there seem to be a lesser percentage of them now.
