Could be a language/cultural barrier or the presumption of a
familiarity that is not shared? 

I have found that cross cultural humor does not suceed in FIDO
messages. Unless the 'humor' is prefaced with elaborate
explanations which somewhat spoils the 'humor'. 

If your humor was intended as 'familiar' humor then I apologize
for any inconvenience my somewhat 'dry' response has caused
you. If, OTOH, this is a smokescreen to appear the injured
party then you are still a sh*t disturber as I have said in the
past. ;-)
