-=> While eating Chocolate, Desiree had this to say: <=-
RF> Oh I understand that as I have seen people get blasted for saying
RF> something not clarified properly. Then when the person corrects it
RF> they still get it.
I know about that one too...I caught it over such a simple request as to
not call me "girl" (on another echo) and it caused all kinds of flaming
and insults on the part of another who couldn't get the humor in it. I
asked him to not call me girl, that he could call me 'hey you', wench or
even late for dinner! Oh well.
RF> I think just coming to an agreement or understanding can bring along
RF> some sort of peace of mind. Also, David probably does feel he is more
RF> mature, because he will be moving out. He is coming to a rude
RF> awakening like you said. All in all, he will probably make it, once
RF> reality checks in and some foolish and childish behaviors don't fit in
RF> this new world he's entering.
A couple of friends are making bets to see how long it takes his girlfriend
to come crying for answers. She *can* hold her own though. ;)
RF> Yeah, well my daughter said that and I now have two grandchildren.
RF> We found out about the second one when she went into the hospital with
RF> an appendicitis attack. She was only 2-3 weeks pregnant. It surprise
RF> us all. I remember her waking up after surgery asking me if she had
RF> mis- carried yet (at the time that is what she wanted). She didn't.
RF> I thought for sure she would and the doctor said there was a good
Another miracle baby, against all odds. My daughter is one of those too. I
had to fight to keep her and went to extremes to do so. But now she is very
healthy and happy. I'm greatful and relieved. :)
RF> chance she would, but she didn't. We don't believe in abortion either
RF> so this child hung in there and made it out. He has a really bad
RF> disposition and I fear it is ADHD/ODD, but he's not quite three yet.
RF> Even the doctor can't understand why this child will sit in the middle
RF> of the room and cry.
I suffered from depression even as a young child... could this be a possi-
bility?
RF> I remember those days. The kids have made a truce with some of the
RF> kids in the neiborhood and now I have them knocking on my door
RF> constantly. In fact, yesterday I thought I saw my Sara holding a
RF> friends hand. I did a double take, but they quit before I saw a
RF> second time. I will have to investigate further as Sara is only 9 and
RF> I don't allow such things. I definetly am not looking forward to all
RF> this again. Also my Jonathon who is 12 and going through puberty has
RF> been hanging around a girl lately too. Hmmmmmmm.............I think I
RF> am in trouble here.
Oh no... run for the hills!!! Well... I am certainly not ready for
that stage again so soon.
DL> AND different. Just another hurdle of life, I guess. :)
RF> Yeppers, and I'm not sure if its getting better or worse.
Ron used to tell me that is *will* get better... I'm still asking, when???
Take care,
Desiree
