G'day david,

Replying to a message of david begley to Jeff Green:

JG>> The factory defaults were scrambled!
db> The M7F factory defaults are crap anyway.

True, but it would've been nice to do an at&v and see them the way they
were meant to be.

I just bought a new PC and don't have any money to spend on a new modem.
Connecting at 2400 with my old modem is not appealling.

JG>> It wouldn't save to nvram! When it did save to nvram, it didn't save
JG>> what it should've! I got shitty. I hit it. Hard!!

db> Sure that wasn't the other way around?! ;-)

No. The way I described it is the way it happened. By the time I hit it
(hard), I'd figured it was stuffed for good anyway so I had nothing to
loose.

 JG>> It's working now.
 db> Oh good.

Yes :-) As I said above, 2400 connect doesn't appeal to me.

JG>> Note to everyone: Never ever buy a Netcomm, they're shit!!
 db> No shit, eh? ;-)

Is that a bad pun? :-)

Merry Christmas...Jeff (jeff{at}grntrs.dialix.oz.au)
