Rod, at 14:07 on May 13 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> Quite so. When I had my NSW Shooters' Licence back around 1972ish, it was issued on a personal basis, with no requirement to list the weapons owned, exactly the same as with my current Qld Police Weapons License. Did that change in NSW since I left there? RS> Yeah, its the main danger with the semi auto 22s, most who have them RS> will think the law is stark staring bonkers, and they are dead right. Couldn't agree more. RS> I bet they ignore it in droves when they arent already listed as RS> having it and there is no ammo method of getting found out either. Yep. RS> Typical loony stuff that only utterly fuckwit politicians could produce. Had a local gun-shop owner on the news last night, and he reckons that he's sold more self-loading rifles in the last week, than he'd sold in the entire previous year. Funny that. :) Regards, Bill --- Msgedsq/2 3.20* Origin: Logan City, SEQ +61 7 3200 8606 MO (3:640/305.9) SEEN-BY: 640/305 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
