Hello Jeff > CP> Which rivers are you between? > Georges and Woronora. I am aware of the location of the Georges river is, but the other one is an unknown to me. I will get a better atlas (or map) > CP> I was under the impression that Sydney did not have any rivers. > CP> It only had open sewers or pollution drains :-) > They're getting there. When it happens I'll amend the origin to say > "Between the Sewers" :-) Unfortunately the Derwent river is getting too polluted now. The fish just are not there anymore. I do not trust eating oysters that are farmed in the Derwent when there is 10,000 tons of concentrated zinc ore sitting under the Tasman bridge. Short term may not be a problem, but as far as I know, heavy metals accumulate over time before their poisoning symptoms appear Would you be happy eating any fish that you knew had been caught in the Georges river? If the answer is no, I rest my case. :-) Christian * OLR 5.1 * Only dead fish swim with the stream..... --- FMail/386 0.98* Origin: -= Compuware Support=- Tasmania Australia (3:711/934.27) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
