BT> Hi Scott...
BT>On 02/01/98, Scott Scheibe mumbled this about NRA General RKBA Digest
BT>333.
BT>SS> Today, Wednesday, January 28, 1998, in Rocklin, California, Mr.
BT>SS> William Doss presented his SKS Sporter rifle to local law enforcement
fo
BT>SS> confiscation -- a firearm previously and expressly deemed acceptable
y
BT>SS> California Attorney General Dan Lungren (R). The crisis was brought
abo
BT>SS> when Mr. Lungren initially determined that a firearm popular with
shooti
BT>SS> enthusiasts was legal under California's Roberti-Roos "Assault Weapons
BT>SS> Control Act" -- only to reverse course later and pronounce the guns
BT>SS> illegal.
BT> And what is the NRA doing about this other than talking about it???
BT> Brian
Brian, what would you have us do? NRA is fighting this thing
(don't you get the weekly NRA fax?) hard. Yeah, we're only
talking; but I wasn't aware anyone else had actually gone to war
over it. Did I miss something? Has the revolution begun? Or is
*everyone* just talking? Ernie P.
