Actually I was talking about the pressure of selling off my amiga/toaster
system in lieu of a Dec Alpha system (NT). Since I mainly do lightwave
animations, being able to render at 20X my current speed would be very
beneficial, but I use my toaster for simple tasks and would hate to lose it
now that I know it pretty well.

Yeah but the flyer is expensive and I think Im going to lean my business
mostly towards animations, and not as much towards the video end, so the
flyer is becoming less and less important to me. Besides, with the way
commodore is, I wouldn't be suprised if Newtek anounces at NAB that they
are working on a PC toaster/Flyer solution. I guess we'll see.

Because I would sell my toaster system, yet I would still want something
that I could do basic editing with for my animations or the small video
work I may do. I would need something that defenitely does fades and
wipes, and some Digital effects would be cool. I could probably just get
one of them cheapo mixer boards to do this. They have become pretty
advanced I hear. Whaddaya think?

Thanks for the help. Take care.
