No.  Pentium Pro chips fit only on socket 8 mobos.

For a mobo, I'd recommend Freetech, Asus or Intel.

Yes, the SMP is more because it only ships with the SMP server
version.  A single PPro 200 is pretty damn fast with OS/2.  You'd
really be pressed to find a need for more than 1.  Spend the
extra money on 64 or 128 meg of RAM.

I only recommend 2 video cards makers:  ELSA and Matrox.  Both
have very low cost cards that perform wonderfully with OS/2.
