Having read all the threads about the possible loss of 2mtr and 440,
I think that we are forgetting the original point here.
The research was on ALL freqs. below 1GHz, not just 2 and 440. In other
words from 160M thru 33cm. Losses may be greater at a higher frequency,
but antennas don't have to be as large as for a lower freq. So while your
raising a riot about not giving up 2 and 440, consider this thought.
"Are you willing to trade all the other bands for just those two?"
If they come along and say, "We'll leave you 2 and 440 if you give us
220, 902-926, and 40M." What are you going to say then when you've committed
your self to just 2 and 440.
