I joined UWSA in Dec 92 and am a founding member. I have so far gotten
two newsletters from UWSA. If the original idea was that the $15 was for
getting a newsletter (which I knew nothing about) then where are they?
I could have gotten a better deal (if newsletters were the only thing
UWSA was about) from any magazine weekly.
I do not believe the original intent of UWSA to have membership was for
the newsletter. As I recall, we banned together to change government and
inform the public of events that they should be concerned about. The
original intent was also to organize a foundation that would investigate
for the non-profit organization on various matters of government. This
foundation would be non-profit (tax exempt for contributions) and be an
information sort of library where we could get information from.
Seems as though the foundation has been forgotten.
