Let me get this straight.  You do NOT want as much timeslices as you can?
When then?  I have a sound system working in the background...

I use pascal, becoz it's the only thing I know properly enough.  Can do a
little C, Mex. I also do Delphi for Win Apps, but I like OS/2 more...

I found Virtual Pascal the other day - quite useful, but not 100% compatible
with TP 7.0.
