There are lists that will show you activity, like the fidogazette's stats, but
I know there are others.. so yes, watch them for a while.  IINM, they will have
 some "are we connected?" and "Anybody here??" messages, maybe some on-topic
chatter, but nothing that sustains the echo. At least that's my experience. I
think if you think there is a good echo still viabale say from a "classic"
list, your best bet is to start it on your bbs.. tell your users about it.. get
 it elisted.. well you know the rest :)

One of the ones I would LOVE to see return is the C_ECHO. C proramming language
 echo.  We don't have the people who are willing to post the C proramming code
though anymore :( I could bore the world with my code but for what reason?
