  One of the problems with C++ compilers is that you cannot mix and match
  C++ code compiled with different compilers (unless you use DirectToSOM
  C++).  Calling convention mismatches and object layout differences are
  significant problems.

  This means that any product, such as Guidelines, which uses a library of
  C++ classes has to have those classes compiled with (each individual
  version of) each individual C++ compiler.

  Since EMX C++ libraries have never (to date) shipped with JBA
  Guidelines, you will not be able to link Guidelines-generated
  applications that have been compiled with EMX C++.
