Sony is recalling 18,000 VAIO laptop computers worldwide due
 to the risk of a small electric shock cause by faulty modems.

 Models involved are PCG-FRV25 and PCG-FRV27, both with 15"
 screens and price at about $1,500.

 Registered owners will be contacted by e-mail, and buyers
