Of course.  That helps with ONE system, his Uplink... No one else his uplink is
connected to will likely hear about it.  I guess you like that idea? :)

To let the rest of the world know about a new echo, it makes sense to get it
listed however.

Once upon a time to create a new echo you had to have traffic in it.  You had
to show that it was viable ... without gating the internet into it. JFYI :)
