    I wouldn't know.. Speed gamma 1.5 won't even compile this (on my system)..

Program WRIT;
uses wincrt;
begin
writeln('HELLO');
end.

    I would, but he would then require code which I have copyrighted and have
no intention of distributing even for the purpose of improving that product.
Sorry if that sounds selfish, but I put a lot of work into that code.

 KT> A small DLL... And it doesn't even need to be placed by the user..

    It wouldn't work for my intended purpose, as one of the first things my
program does is to change directories. If the DLL, offered any siginificant
improvement, I would use it. And the sorry fact is that I could replace it
with the 16bit API calls, if I was happy with the rest of the package. However
I'm not and what i need I'm getting from VP.

 KT> Besides, I got it for about 160$US less than VP's retail :)

    The price is the only selling point that gets my attention. Otherwise, I'm
simply not impressed. But many others (such as yourself) have better results
than do I. And I wish them the best.
    Methinks though that this is a little offtopic, and since we're destined
to disagree on this one, lets let it sit..
