 I've lived in places where the closest town had
 about 20 houses and a dep which was also the post
 office. The dep was part of the parlor of one of
 the houses in town and had milk and a few dozen
 tins of assorted stuff, plus of course cigarettes.
 
 Very calm place, but isolated.

 That's a problem. Because of the ice storm, which
 did tremendous damage to the trees here, Hydro is
 supposed to be doing some extreme chopping of
 branches to keep their wiring safe -- thus doing
 further damage. Sad.
