I tried Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup (I think in the early 1960's) and
didn't like it either.
I've always loved their Mushroom Soup and thought that the Golden Mushroom
Soup would be GREAT, but it didn't taste as good as their orginal Mushroom
Soup does, in my not so humble opinion.

I looked at the label and saw Wine was one of the ingredients and figured
that must had been what caused the terrible taste.

My memory says the Wine on the label was called Sautern Wine.
