subject: Requester problem

I've got a strange one here and haven't been able to figure out what the
problem is. Maybe someone here has seen this.
I just set up another workstation at the office with OS/2 tied into a
Netware Server (v3.11).
When I boot up and LOGIN is run (run through STARTUP.CMD like my other
workstations) I get asked my password, I get an attach message, LOGIN
reports the local drive letters, then it states that Drives F:, L:, and
P: are "not defined". ??? Not defined? I thought that L: and P: were
defined internally in LOGIN.EXE? I have the appropriate entries for
these drive letters in my PATH and DPATH statements. Drive F: is
defined in my NET.CFG as my default login drive letter.
What gives? Anyone know?
Here's the even funnier part. This problem is only manifest in
GLOBAL OS/2 sessions. In PRIVATE DOS and WIN/OS/2 sessions I can log in
just fine and define all the drive letters I want -- with the exception
of L: and P:. I can access the server's resources through these PRIVATE
sessions just fine.
Nothing appears to be any different from my other workstations (to the
naked eye, anyway). I've checked everything I can think of short of
reinstalling. What am I missing here?
