I didn't get a chance to experience that.

I used to do the same thing in the morning when it was cold and I wanted to
light the furnace, but my mother told me to put my clothes on for school
and move around a lot.  That always worked.

I still like to go barefoot.  Of course, my feet aren't what they used to
be.  Remember that heat rises and on a cold day, you should wear a hat or
the heat will escape.
