Actually, it is quite strange that you are mucking around with
big disks.  As fun as that may be, everyone I know sort of stops
doing that after a while, and moves into management, or process
control or something.  I have managed to keep my role to "C
programmer", but in reality, that has now become around 10% of
what I do.  Actually, if the bastard before me hadn't been a
major shareholder in Informix, I would have been doing a lot more
C, but now Informix 4GL is a large part of what I do.  And I hate
proprietary languages.  Actually I hate all languages that aren't
C.  Even K&R C, which the dweebs in the Unix world seem to cling
on to.  Come to think of it, I hate just about everything and
everyone.  Still, while it's 5 mins 30 seconds to get to work, I
won't nail my dog's head to the floor just yet.  I'll certainly
break a few pigeons necks though.  I was walking by Tandy and
was thinking of popping in and getting an opto-thingamebob.  I
wonder if they actually work in daylight, ie on my balcony?
