Cox Cable technicians told me the same, then swallowed
their pride when the FCC sent them back out to eliminate
the interference I had originally complained about.
I wasn't a subscriber and wasn't connected to the cable
system, but they were overriding the TV signals I was
attempting to receive with a rooftop antenna. And they
had the gall to blame my 8-track player for the problem
on their first trip.
They were a little sheepish on the second trip, after
learning that I had an FCC license.
