Damiana is related to passionflowers but the taste is quite
different from the passionfruit juice I'm familiar with.
I once received a bottle of Agavero brand Damiana flower tequila
liqueur and was not impressed with it. I didn't find the damiana
flavour very pleasant and, not surprisingly, it didn't affect my
libido (or Roslind's) one way or the other. Neither did we
experience any DMT related alterations in perception as some
passionflowers are said to cause.

That one is more obscure; I hadn't heard of it before now.

So is the combination an aphrodisiac or just flea poison?

      Yield: 1 serving

    3/4 oz Lemon juice
      1 ts Sugar
  1 1/2 oz Bourbon or Rye
           Soda water

  In a tall glass dissolve the sugar in the lemon juice juice; add
  ice cubes and Bourbon or Rye. Top off with soda. Stir briefly and
  and serve.
