I wouldn't bet my life on what "anyone" involved with R/S says. They
just have to be the most incompetant people on the face of the earth
(after civil servants of course). The trouble began with a leather
tanning company buying up a startup chain of 6 radio parts stores and
franchised the hell out of it. That they managed to make a profit was
despite themselves and thanks to the CB craze in the mid 70's then the
PC in the 80's. Today they barely even sell radio parts at all and the
R/S name is dirt in most tech's books now.
(Let's all have a "we hate Tandy" day!)
