Dieter, at 00:03 on Nov 29 1995, you wrote to Bill Grimsley...

Oops, too late. :)

So did I (until Roger decided to come back, that is).

DM> Technical Manager or something, wasn't it ?

None of the positions there had specific titles per se, although my
pay-slip listed me as a Computer Technician. Once the Modem Superstore had
opened next door (which it now has), I was to been its Technical Manager, a
position which Roger will presumably fill now. I wasn't all that fussed
with building and repairing computers, something which a trained monkey
could have done, but I'd been quite looking forward to working exclusively
with modems, despite more than 2 hours travelling each day. Oh well, such
is life...

Regards, Bill
