Hello Mark -

ml>>> http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation

ml>>> the above site seem to do pretty well when i ask it where
ml>>> an IP is located... its not the first one that i found
ml>>> but it does a decent job...

ml>>> drop by with your browser and see how accurate it gets
ml>>> your location... report back and lets compare or start a
ml>>> list or something ((GG))

CA>> Interesting but they put me in North Carolina and I'm in
CA>> Michigan. :-)

ml> interesting... what ip number?? i'm curious how they
ml> figured NC... you can send by netmail if you like... or
ml> tell me and i'll give you (one of) my email addresses...

That's not necssary, I'm not that interested.

I know my ISP is not located in Michigan. As do most, they
lease dialup connections from other companies but my IP address
is apparently assigned to me by my actual ISP who may well be
located in North Carolina?

They've told me where they are physically located but I really
didn't care at the time. If I can't get there in 20 minutes the
location is of no importance to me.
