I think there may be something about it historically however in that the first experimental TV pictures were transmitted over a regular AM radio using a synchronized rotating disk with an aperture. I've never actualy seen one of those babies except in old radio books. IIRC they even brought back the rotating disk idea when the first colour image experiments were first tried. Reminded me of those crazy Christmas light things with a three colour film rotating disk in front of a flood lamp. Mike **** ...
