GM> The problem is that I remember the correct format for the To: GM> field. IIRC the format for the "first line" style was the same as GM> the header To: field, whatever that might have been. There GM> isn't any reference in the Blue wave docs to netmail addressing GM> format. With properly set up *fidonet* compatible software, you should get a *seperate* prompt for the Fidonet address. It doesn't go in the To: field. It goes in a field of its own. On BBSes, netmail has its own "area" theat's seperate from all the echomail and local message areas. GM> ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 Ok, you are using Blue Wave. There should be an area with a Type of Net. Not, "Local" and not "Echo". If there isn't, you aren't *allowed* to send netmail according to the BBS/Mailer configuration. I think you are getting netmail addressing confused with the kludges for sending netmail to an Internet address, --- FMailX 1.60* Origin: Shadowgard (1:105/50) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 105/50 360 106/2000 633/267 |
