eCS 1.1 and the new SIO2k.
Xircom pcmcia modem. Worked in the predecessor A20 and works in Win2k.
From config.sys:
BASEDEVs: PCMCIA.SYS; IBM2SS14.SYS; AUTODRV2.SYS
(same as was in the A20).
A20 was using com.sys
SIO2k log says
UART1 has no assigned hardware - same for uart2,3,4
I have BASEDEV=DANIS506.ADD /V /A:2 /PCS
to be able to read a cf card and this works with no problems.
On a hunch remmed out SIO2K lines and unremmed COM.SYS and now it works.
???
