The indigenous inhabitants are making claims to the more
"valuable" hunks of land in recent years. This does seem to piss
off the "non-indigenous" people who have been living on that land
for a generation or two.

Much of the strife evades me as to its cause - other than that (some of)
the indigenous persons have developed a "hand out" mentality.
