 While I have to be careful about -my- blowing away channels 16,17,18 on 
CATV, I have to put up with all sorts of leaks and bleading -from- the CATV 
system and take it wherever it show up on 2m,6m, and 70 cm.
 Smoething is NOT fair in this picture.....

 Would you belive I was told I `did not know what I was talking about' by one 
of the `genius' -service technicians- they sent out to do the repair?
 I proceeded to show him his signal leaks on my HT with a dummy load on the 
antenna jack.
 Everywhere around (50 feet) the house we have an S-20 over 9 signal on 
145.255
that is nice and full quieting. 146.760 is full-scale with no antenna at all.
 Suffice to say he shut his mouth before sticking his foot in it any further.
