You shouldn't *NEED* a string.  That's the whole point here.  What you do

init string variables is almost pointless.  It doesn't make a whole lot of
difference.  That's the way the code was written.  It was written to work

ATZ, and on the Sportsters here at Apogee, it works fine.

From the time we ship it, depending on where you are in the US, it's about 
-5
working days from the day WE SHIP IT.   Outside of the US takes longer,
especially in some countries where our shipments get inspected in customs.
As for the cheesy box, we don't ship those anymore, we just use CD specific
padded envelopes.
