While Axel Bruns was typing about Bugs, what Bugs?
Hi again Axel,
CH>> Just wondering if you've had any problems with Thor 2.31
AB> Nope, none here...
CH>> When you get to the end of this mail packet, get out of that _system_ and
CH>> then get back into it. Then try reading just *one* more little message.
CH>> On my machine it's an open invitation to the Guru. It
CH>> manages to crash every time, NO exceptions.
AB> So basically what you're doing is entering an empty system (one that has
AB> no more unread mails), right ? No problems here.
Exactly what I *was* doing. Caused a MAJOR crash every time. I've since
found the culprit, an earlier version of BBSRead.library. Replacing it
fixed everything. 8^)
CH>> I had thought to try running SnoopDOS to see what the problem is, but
CH>> the version I have refuses to even load for me any more.
AB> I don't know, but if SnoopDOS won't even run, it sounds like there's
AB> something more fundamentally wrong...
Wrong??????
My hybrid machine refuses to even recognise that it has a printer
attached to it. Any time I need to print anything it's a case of....
Copy BlahBlah:Filename PAR:
^^^^
Yep PAR: The machine seems to think that PRT: has left home. Though the
ASSIGN command knows it's there.
CH>> Maybe a test by you might show some different result.
AB> Let me know if I misunderstood your problem; I can't seem to reproduce
AB> the error here...
That problem's solved. Thanx anyway.
