If so where?

The only USB anything connected here is a new 120GB HD in external USB
2.0 case. W2K had no problem finding or using this device, though
formatting it was a chore. USB 2.0 is provided by a PCI card with NEC
7201 chip.

MCP Hardware Manager shows that the drivers apparently loaded
satisfactorily. Drives object showed four additional objects:

1-Removable cartridge object (O:)
2-Additional (3rd) floppy object (P:)
3-Additional (2nd) CD object (S:)
4-Refresh removable media object

Selecting 4 produced no detectable activity, the icon just flashed
briefly. Attempting access to O: or P: produced device not ready
messages. LVM showed USB as disk #4 96 MB and "the partition table on
this disk may be corrupt. The system is not able to use this disk".
DFSee showed the USB disk as 96 MB "error reading 1st sector (MBR) on
physical disk nr4". "no access. locked/media".

So, I tweaked CONFIG.SYS, changing:

BASEDEV=USBMSD.ADD
to
BASEDEV=USBMSD.ADD /floppies:0 /removables:1 /V

BASEDEV=USBCDROM.ADD
to
BASEDEV=USBCDROM.ADD /CDS:0

BASEDEV=DaniDASD.DMD
to
BASEDEV=DaniDASD.DMD /MP:1,2
and
... ./MP:4,2

I've been unable to locate docs on /MP syntax, only why it exists, so I
don't know whether the first number is the sequence of partitionable
media (3HD+1USB=4,2 or 1USB=1,2).

I got rid of the unnecessary floppy and CD objects, but still cannot
access the USB HD. Both DFSee and LVM see the bogus 96 MB device.
