I've been using the beta for some months and find it highly compatible
with BP 7.0, which I have used for DOS programming.  GUI programming is
more complex, but so far in the learning process I've found VP quite
manageable.  

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of the release version of VP, which I
ordered two days ago.
