I would prefer LAPM (V42bis).  Your modem will be able to do
both, or at the minimum MNP4.  They don't make V32bis modems
without error correction.  AT&F will presumably get it enabled,
but you may have made some changes that you want to keep, and
AT&F will wipe them out.

To do comms under Windows, you need a 16550 UART.  Without one,
you will lose interrupts.  My logs showed that you were losing
characters, and asking for resends.  BFN.  Paul.
